The espresso machine Julian made
I love to hang around people who are passionate about their interests. Julian, or Julz as I always call him, certainly fits into this category.
The first time I met him was when he was still at uni and working at a coffee shop. He told me about a Frankenstein coffee machine he created from two other machines destined for landfill. I knew I liked this bloke straight away so it didn’t hurt when I found out he only lived around the corner from me. We got on like a house on fire and I even went to his wedding in the Philippines.
I took some vision of Julian and another, more impressive, coffee machine that he made. But, I only got around to editing this video very recently. He’s a charming chap, I’m sure you’ll like him.
After working as an engineer for in Brisbane Julz decided to move to the Philippines with his wife and son and live off the land. He’s definitely somebody to an eye on. Check out his blog here.
